I’m a resourceful and result-oriented Condition Based Maintenance (CBM) Engineer. My tenacious and proactive approaches to solving facility problems are based on industry best practices and root cause failure analysis; RCFA.
I have over 7years of experience in rotating equipment maintenance. In these years, I have been faced with lots
of challenges ranging from a simple spring-mass system like electric motor configuration to intricate turbomachinery like gas turbines.  Some, have pushed me to acquire more knowledge and skills through training, while others have helped me to collaborate with major actors in the field of rotor dynamics.
Some of my major accomplishments are; being a major actor in a strategy that is saving my current company
millions of dollars, via using condition monitoring techniques to curb OEM usual 25k running hours, minor
overhaul, and 50k major overhaul, of gas turbine generators and compressors. Generally, with condition
monitoring maintenance, in 2021 (End of first year of CBM deployment), we had a cost-saving of over 7.5million
dollars. Also, we initiated the stat analysis strategy to detect energy transfer path on equipment and piping,
operating, or laying in a perturb condition via superimposing the analysis with VDI 3842 for remedial actions.
In summary, I have always spurred the institutionalization of condition base maintenance as the fore and best maintenance practice. This has awakened and ameliorated top managers' decisions on equipment reliability. Inevitably depending on our report to make strong maintenance and operational decision before/after TAM, PMs, and shutdowns. Thusly, saving lots of cost and time wasted on unnecessary overhauls in the past.

Owns quality & timeliness aspect of condition monitoring activities on rotating Machine Trains
as per relevant applicable procedures and ensures compliance and implementation of the developed procedures in totality.
- Preparation of vibration database for all critical and essential assets in the plant.
- Performs periodic vibration surveys on rotating and static assets, in-depth analysis of the
collected data, and preparation of detailed reports showing areas with anomalies and remedial recommendations.
- Operate and peform condition monitoring and troubleshooting of mechanical equipment.
- Peform preventive/corrective maintenance and troubleshooting on mechanical equipment as
per computerised maintenance management system.

Preparation of database for onsite lube oil analysis of all critical equipment via Spectro
Scientific Oilview™ and TruVu.
- Onsite lube oil sampling, analysis and report interpretation using SPECTRO Minilab 153 and
Microlab 40.
- Carry out site gas leak survey using Distran ultrasound camera, pipe tracing with P&ID and
generate a survey leak report.
- Carry out Infrared Thermography on turbomachinery.
- Plan, schedule and execute the condition monitoring measurements giving high priority to
critical equipment. Assure condition monitoring measurements for newly installed machines, after a machine repair, before the start up. Upload the transient and steady state data, analyze the data, and generate an acceptance testing report.
- Preparation and circulation of condition monitoring report with recommendation duly initiated
with notification on SAP.
- Participate in planning, RAID and TAM meetings to coordinate machinery anomalies close-out
actions.
- Maintains close communication with maintenance team leads for anomalies and correction - Support PMs and corrective maintenance actions.
- Perform precision shaft laser alignment on newly installed or diagnosed misaligned shaft
machine trains.
- Carry out onsite trim balancing on turbomachinery and fans.
- Carry out modal analysis and transient data analysis on turbomachinery.
- Collaborate with ACOEM METRAVIBS on the FPSO structural analysis and ODS.
