Registered Dietitian Eligible, Certified Lacatation Consultant, Currently pursuing MBA in Sustainability, Agribusiness, & Renewable Energy.

I am most interested in research on all things nutrition, but most desirous to prevent and eradicate malnutrition and food insecurities in impoverished nations; namely Nigeria.

 Fortunately for me, my career experiences beyond undergraduate and graduate Dietetic curricular requirements, have afforded me profuse application of Life Cycle (from infancy to elder; all inclusive gender) Nutrition which has allowed me to work for and with such varying demographics. These opportunities include the following:

• Two years as Supervisor of Dining Services for a state-of-the-art senior living community at which I demonstrated knowledge and skills of leadership, critical thinking, staffing, workflow optimization, food safety, sanitation, HAACP, menu planning & design, and senior health promotion.
• Approximately two months as an Infant Formula Lab Nutrition Technician (temporary position) where I furthered my knowledge and application of safe handling, preparation, and storage of infant nutrition. During this stage of my career, I worked among my peers calculating and preparing specialized formula and breastmilk mixtures (as were prescribed by pediatricians) in a secured formula laboratory but had little to no interaction with the at-risk babies that we served behind the scenes. This position was ideal as I thoroughly enjoy nutritional analysis, yet I felt limited in my ability to connect with my clients.
• Nearly 3 years Public Health Nutritionist which has been one of my most rewarding experiences in Nutrition to date. Within my 2 years  and 10 months in this role, I enjoyed a combination of all of my passions such as: utilizing client history, laboratory values, dietary intake/ recall, and anthropometrics to assess and determine nutritional risk criteria of clientele; facilitating client-centered motivational interviewing and counseling with clients which empowers them to formulate “S-M-A-R-T Goals” and helps the general public, one by one, become nutritionally educated, self-aware, healthier, and at less health risk; integration of nutrition research; and meal planning, preparation, and demonstration. I have also specialized in writing “S-O-A-P Notes” for the “high-risk” client.
• During and since completing my post-graduate Dietetic Internship, I have currently been employed for 2years as an Assistant Dietitian with the credential Nutrition Dietetic Technician, Registered at a treatment center for adolescents, men, and women who suffer from Eating Disorders presenting with multifarious biomedical and   psychological comorbidities from ages 9 to above.
  
   

I have completed my Bachelor of Family Consumer Sciences in Dietetics & Nutrition Wellness, my post-graduate Dietetic Internship (with special emphasis on Sustainable Nutrition  and Eating Disorders), and two semesters of graduate school with the projected date of December 2023 to have earned my MBA with a specialized focus on Healthcare Administration, Sustainability, Agribusiness, and Renewable Energy.
