I worked as a Human Nutirtionist at the Ekiti State University Teaching Hospital, Nigeria. In the role, I worked with patients living with  HIV/AIDS and cancer)
My Duties in the Role included:

  • Teaching patients about the effects of food on their health, motivating them to make positive changes to their diet.
  • Evaluating the dietary needs of a patients by assessing their health and exercise levels, as well as their sleep and food routines, etc.
  • Engaging patients with one-to-one nutritional education.
  • Offering counseling and suggest positive alterations in nutrition to address patients’ dietary restrictions.
  • Creating full and personalized nutrition plans that promote healthy lifestyles.
  • Setting clear objectives and provide support to patients to help them in their progress.
  • Making presentations on a variety of topics such as how nutrition affects performance in sports, schools etc.

  • Level 5 Dip. in Health and Social Care, Training Qualifications UK (June, 2022).
  • Dip. in Human Nutrition (level 3 equiv.), College of Health Sciences & Technology, Ekiti, Nigeria (2010 - 2012)
