I worked as a Human Nutirtionist at the Ekiti State University Teaching Hospital, Nigeria. In the role, I worked with patients living with HIV/AIDS and cancer)
My Duties in the Role included:

Teaching patients about the effects of food on their health, motivating them to make positive changes to their diet.
Evaluating the dietary needs of a patients by assessing their health and exercise levels, as well as their sleep and food routines, etc.
Engaging patients with one-to-one nutritional education.
Offering counseling and suggest positive alterations in nutrition to address patients’ dietary restrictions.
Creating full and personalized nutrition plans that promote healthy lifestyles.
Setting clear objectives and provide support to patients to help them in their progress.
Making presentations on a variety of topics such as how nutrition affects performance in sports, schools etc.
