Application for the post of an Accountant 

I hereby apply for the above-mentioned post in your reputable organization.
I have been working and still on the job for a cumulative (8) year as an Accountant and Account Officer. In this vein I have a good record track of qualitative experience and as a professional. I have a very strong background for accurate receivables and payable ageing analysis, posting of transactions from authorized source documents and preparation of a set of financial statements in accordance with the International Financial Reporting Standards in the like of Statement of financial Position, Income Statement and Other Comprehensive Income, Statement of Cash flow and Notes on the Accounts and other working Notes and Budget preparation. Financial Analysis is not also left out in my skills and also Bank reconciliations and Inventory Management and Control. Good internal control measures and Tax management (CIT, VAT, WHT, and PAYE) it deductions, filings and remittances (e-filings on FIRS-Tax Promax) to relevant tax offices and also observance of professional ethics and corporate code of conduct. 
As regards the level of my computer literacy, I am skillful on various Accounting packages in the like of ‘’Ebizframe ERP, Palladium ERP, Business Accounting Software, Sage 50, and Quick Book. In addition, I have a considerable knowledge of Excel Spread Sheets(Vlookup and Pivot Table) and Microsoft Word and Other Internet Banking’’ technical - know - how. 
Also, my analytical and qualitative reporting skills are brilliant for every employer to look forward to being the fact that they are in accordance to the local and International reporting Standards. And apart from the training acquired through education, I have practical and on the job experience for the above mentioned position with MicCom Cables and Wires Limited, Fava travels Limited, Sona Agro Allied Foods Limited and currently working with Vitafoam Nigeria Plc as an Account Supervisor.                                               As regards my educational background and professional training am currently writing my final papers in professional level of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria(ICAN) and qualify as an Associate Accounting Technician West Africa(AATWA) of ICAN in 2011. My Secondary School education was  completed in 2004 at Anglican Grammar School, Ota. Ogun State and my General Certificate Examination result in 2006.
