Peter Sunday Oshaji

I am an expert in promoting a combination of policy and economic levers to drive development in the health sector. I lead a team of over 50 researchers to conduct various forms of market research, social research and health specific research. I have detailed understanding of Universal health coverage and how to increase the inclusion of vulnerable populations in the health safety net. I have led dynamic teams to achieve extra-ordinary results and create sustainable impact in the health space. 

I have over 17 years professional experience at local and international levels.  Currently, i work as the Director of MNH Research at NOIPOlls where i lead a team of 50 researchers to conduct various kinds of research. I am passionate about strengthening health systems, haven worked as Governance and Leadership Advisor and Health Financing Advisor in projects focused on improving policy for better health. I have led several teams to achieve extra-ordinary results and contribute to making Nigeria and subnational structures accelerate its journey towards achieving Universal Health Coverage. I have also spent over 8 years in the Nigerian Banking Sector. 

I have a Masters Degree in Health Economics and a post graduate Diploma in Public Health. My bachelors degree was in Accounting and i also have a masters in banking and finance. I am a Fellow of the African Institute of Public Health Professionals and a member of Nigeria Advocates for Health.
