Responsibilities
Support residents  to move around and also assist in passive exercise for those confined to bed.
A good listener, observer and patient to spot someone needs even when the individual  is unable to ask for help
I am passionate in caring for  vulnerable elderly, adults and children who needs assistance in their daily activities,I am friendly ,respectful, trustworthy, flexible, energetic, emphatic, and confident,with good problem solving techniques,able to relate very well with residents.
I relate with my clients with honesty and a warmth attitude
Washing,  dressing  , undressing and grooming of residents ,serving meals and helping to feed patients.
Making beds and keeping the environment clean and tidy
Also assisting in prevention of infection,  food hygiene, personal hygiene, clothing hygiene reassurance, comfort and safety.
Assist incontinence residents and toileting  in continent clients and empty commodes
Communication with residents and relatives ,give companion at all times
Healthy meal preparation as prefered and feeding of patients.
Observing, monitoring and recording patients conditions by taking temperatures, pulse, respiration and weight check.
Picking interest in residents hobbies and apply it together
Engage them in a healthy conversation for the improvement of mental, physical,and emotional wellbeing.

Relate well with relatives and encourage them at all times.
Make known to the supervisor any change  or deteriorating health concern for early intervention.
Assist in shopping and house hold chores.
Treat all patients with respect and dignity even in a dying state
Encourage and supporting residents to live as independent as much as possible.
Assist and support them to the physician for follow up
Give as much help as possible to the patient to make them comfortable.,also going out with them as a form of therapy
