Sequel to your advert, I wish to apply for the position, having worked in major privately owned poultry farms both in Kaduna, Lagos and Ogun state respectively where I've showcased both excellent technical and managerial skills, adding value to the farms and being part of key decision maker on production of quality feeds that best support production, the appropriate vaccines and drugs to be used/administered to prevent disease outbreak and treatment of any observed diseases affecting the flocks. Brooding and rearing 16000 to 18,000 doc in different batches with less than 4% mortality at 14 weeks and achieving 1,500kg body weight at 18weeks which aided egg production at 19weeks and achieving 90% production, 6.0 FCR. In view of my over 7years experience in the sector, I've built strong marketing network which aid the sales of both eggs and old layers for the organizations I've worked with. Responsible for planing and analyzing farm operations, livestock, staff, and financial documents and recommending improvements.

Oversee the activities of all farm heads at various locations. Ensure farm metrics laid down are achieved in terms of mortality, feed convertion and rearing days.

Prepare plans and schedules for placement of feed distribution and harvest.Visiting the different divisions to inspect livestock, and also perform post mortem and send specimens to lab.

Disease prevention and ensures good health of birds. Scheduling repairs, maintenance, and replacement of equipment and machinery.

Ensues  all staff adheres to health and safety regulations put in place. Assisting with the recruitment and training of new staff members.
