I am ambitious dynamic young lady, result oriented, one that is blessed with a unique team spirit, self-motivated and target oriented. I am well trained with sound knowledge and experience in Medical Laboratory practice.
I have also been trained on program support, prevention of mother to child transmission of HIV/AIDS, Health Systems Strengthening (HSS) clinical & laboratory Quality Management services and on infectious disease prevention and control.
I hold a degree in Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Science (BMLS), and licensed to practice as a medical laboratory scientist and a biomedical scientist in both Nigeria and United Kingdom (UK) with 9 years post national youth service Laboratory work experience and with years of experience in HIV/AIDS laboratory support activities, good knowledge in laboratory Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Quality Assurance (QA) and quality control procedures, the pre-analytical, analytical and post analytical Laboratory procedures; These knowledge has been put to practice in Federal Medical Centre yenagoa and volunteer works with, FHI360 and in some private laboratory diagnostic facilities were I worked.
I worked as in HSS/Laboratory services unit in Family Health International(fhi360) a USAID funded project, which involves support in bridging gaps in program, which I in various capacity supported program in ART/PMTCT activation, also in running of Haematology, clinical chemistry, Supported TB smear microscopy and GeneXpert in the state TB Reference laboratories, CD4 Counts analysis and supported generation and collection of CRRIRFS, collation, analysis, validation, and ensured quality checks is carried out on all data collected, captured and transmitted to the next level electronically via the internet using District Health Information software (DHIS), data entry, DBS collection, and have in various capacity supported Axios Logistics Advisor in warehousing and distribution of health commodities in fhi360 in Bayelsa state Office Nigeria.
I have worked with various other Non Governmental organization such as Niger-Delta Development Commission (NDDC), Health and Mission International (AM Projects) in general diagnostic testing, viral hepatitis testing and HIV/AIDS Testing & counseling units, and in PCR laboratory in the course of MSc research study.

Experience
I work with the federal medical centre Yenagoa for 8 years now, I currently in the department microbiology were I analyse specimens using both manual and automated means for effective patient health care delivery. I examine stained slides for microorganisms, yeast cells, clue cells, lecucocytes etc.
