My name is Ochuko Abuwa.

I am a project manager and a planning Specialist with over 7 years of experience. 

I am a project management and planning specialist with proficiency in transforming ideas/initiatives into business realities through the formulation and tracking of relevant performance indices. Leveraging on strong research, I provide timely intervention to ensure organizational objectives are achieved in an ever evolving and dynamic operating environment. 

I am passionate about physical fitness and health and keeping up with a systematic and structured routine that keeps me fit to enable me meet my goals. I am a people's person and passionate about seeing people around me succeed as this will help us as a team to meet organizational goals. I love to spend my time practicing musical instruments such as the piano and drum set as they help in building accuracy and precision. I love to learn. I spend some of my free time acquiring new knowledge and I also love quality time with family.

Experiences

2010 - 2023: Project Coordinator, Trinity House. I conceptualize and implement strategic projects that position the organization for effectiveness internally and externally. handling internal and external communications, design frameworks for financial planning in conjunction with other functions within the organization.

Planning Manager, Trinity House Ltd. I lead strategic initiatives within cross-functional teams including the development and presentation of strategic recommendations to the General Overseer, develop and implement project roadmap and provide support in execution.

2009 - 2023: Manager, De-Gemstone Ventures Concepts (Procurement and Logistics). I prepare plans for the purchase of equipment, services, and suppliers. vendor selections and quality assurance, maintain good supplier relations and contract negotiation, managing inventories and maintaining accurate and price records, prepare budgets and cost analyses, and reports.
