Norah Akumazi

Norah is a hardworking and industrious person.
She was recently called to the Nigerian Bar as Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria, having passed the Bar exams in flying colors (Second Class, Upper Division).
She has an entry level experience in the legal field having interned at one of the top tier law firms in Asaba; A. O. Odum (SAN) & Co. She also garnered a considerable amount of legal skills from the Federal High Court, Asaba Division where she was posted to for her externship. Here, she was the group leader, and she learnt about the workings of the court, how to address the court formally as a lawyer and many more. Her skill was put to test in a moot competition organized by the Court where she excelled greatly.

She has interests in litigation and corporate practice and she is open to learning other disciplines in the legal profession.

Her skill set cut across drafting and preparation of legal documents, interaction and communication skills, legal research and more importantly she has good computer usage skills such as; MS Word, PowerPoint, MS Excel and others.

Norah is open to working with a well seasoned law firm or Nongovernmental Organizations (NGOs), where she can be challenged deploy her skills towards adding to the corporate goals of the organizations.
