Nojeem Amodu

Nojeem effectively combines scholarship in commercial and industrial law with 15 years industry experience as external solicitor together with in-house legal and contracts advisor. He has provided contracts advisory and legal services in the international oil companies of TotalEnergies EP Nigeria Limited, Dangote Oil Refining Limited, and Sterling Oil Exploration and Energy Production Company Limited. Nojeem has deepened his legal contracts risk management skills having negotiated and closed high value engineering, design, procurement (goods and services), construction, installation, and commissioning contracts using standard templates (FIDIC, NEC, BIMCO, AIEN, OGUK among others), and non-standard contracts. Dr Amodu’s legal research and advisory also benefit from his affiliation as a Research Associate in the SOAS School of Law, University of London and at the Centre for Comparative Law in Africa, University of Cape Town, South Africa respectively. In addition to full professional proficiency in English, Nojeem draws on limited working proficiency in French.
