About Nkiruka Onwuchekwa :

My name is Onwuchekwa Nkiruka Gloria, I am a graduate of English and Literature from Abia State University, Uturu. I have a public health background and program administration experience. I equally hold a professional certification in Project Management from the University of Washington DC Department of Global Health. I am also a certified Monitoring and Evaluation Officer for Public Health from the Institute of Public Health, Obafemi Awolowo University. My robust background and experience in public health have equipped me with a solid foundation in understanding the complexities of healthcare systems and the importance of quality care. 
I have previously worked with the Federal Ministry of Health (FMoH) in collaboration with the World Bank on the Nigeria State Health Investment Project (NSHIP). My role as an Interviewer with FMoH in collaboration with the University of Manitoba on the Integrated Biological-behavioral Surveillance Survey (IBBSS) in Abia State in 2020 allowed me to gain valuable experience and familiarity with World Bank and related developmental agencies' reporting requirements. This experience positions me well to support the coordination and monitoring of program implementation at the national and state levels.
Throughout my career, I have demonstrated strong program coordination, budget monitoring, and logistics management skills. I am adept at developing work plans, preparing reports, and ensuring timely and accurate documentation. My attention to detail and organizational abilities enable me to efficiently handle administrative tasks, such as meeting minutes, activity profiles, and budget tracking.
Collaboration and effective communication are essential in program implementation, and I have a proven track record of working successfully with diverse stakeholders, both local and international. I am confident in fostering partnerships and liaising with FMOH, NPHCDA, SMoH/SPHCDA staff, and other partners and donors to ensure smooth implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of programs.
Furthermore, I possess excellent writing skills, including technical writing for reports and development of presentations. I am proficient in utilizing PowerPoint and other tools to communicate project progress and outcomes effectively. I am adaptable, thrive in fast-paced environments, and can manage multiple tasks with competing deadlines.
Given the nature of the role, I am available and willing to travel frequently across states in Nigeria to support program activities and collaborations.
