Ngozi Okeke

A senior-level professional with a proven track record in project coordination and management of social and health programs at national, sub-national, state, and community levels.  A safeguarding expert with experience in managing USAID, CDC, and EU projects.

She has extensive experience in the implementation of OVC, WASH, Nutrition programs, Malaria, advocacy strategies of the organization, development of advocacy briefs, policy and Capacity Building of CSOs.  

I have 19 years of experience in USAID, CDC, and European Union-funded projects with special skills in project management, WASH, advocacy, Monitoring and Evaluation, Gender, Staff management, Safeguarding, capacity building for CSOs, system strengthening, financial management, and quality improvement programming.

She is a senior-level professional with a proven track record in project coordination and management of social and health programs at national, sub-national, state, and community levels. Good in stakeholder mapping, preparation of problem analysis framework, identifying paths to influence stakeholders & key messages, and creating detailed annual, monthly & weekly plans for advocacy/engagement activities. Has excellent skill in Monitoring and Evaluation, team management with a specialty in instilling teamwork spirit among the team members to achieve set objectives; NGO/CBO Assessment and Institutional capacity building, Advocacy packaging and implementation, and community mobilization. 

She has extensive experience in the implementation of OVC, WASH, Nutrition programs, advocacy strategies of the organization, and development of advocacy briefs, policy, and Standard Operation procedures (SOP). Experienced in supporting the identification of opportunities for CSOs to engage with each other, with citizens, or with government/service providers. Ngozi lead the Joint Association of People Living with Disability (JONAPWD) for an advocacy visit to the Government of Anambra state which resulted in the passage of disability Law and its implementation in the different MDAs in Anambra state.

Ngozi is proficient in mentoring staff especially the weak ones to ensure that the organizational unit’s performance goals and standards are maintained. I am an innovative problem-solver, with excellent communication skills and a commitment to providing high-quality results. Eager to learn at all times, sensitive to cultures in the community, and adopt new ideas to change situations positively. She has a very strong technical understanding and experience in initiating, planning, executing, monitoring, and closing projects.

I am a Ph.D. student in cooperative Economics and Management with a specialty in Community Development waiting for final defense, M.Sc. Cooperative Economics and Management and second master's in Public Health.
