The company is into oil exploration and production. Since the company does not transport their products (crude oil) through the pipeline but by barging through shuttle tankers to the FSO to deep sea hence this is my role.

ROLES:
Planning to achieve 1.5milion barrels per month target in conjunction with Yade   barge team.
Loading of cargos from Yade Barge to vessels, ensuring proper sounding and monitoring before and after quantity confirmation with support from crude team.
Monitoring the cargo and bunker issues including theft and discrepancies.
Rolling out sailing plans for vessels sailing to Tuja Bavani (FSO) and further offloading on time.
Coordination with FSO for operational activities and movement of vessels and man power.
Coordination and handling of STS operations at FSO.
Inspection of vessels on regular basis to ensure the same is fit for purpose.
Handling with statutory bodies all issues and resolving the same to enable vessel hitch free operations.
To ensure that all compliance status are updated to suit the companys SMS and   ISM code standard.
To ensure that vessels class and flag state and safe manning are carried out in strict compliance to ISM code.
Providing berthing space and anchorage positions for vessels coming inwards and outwards and replenishing the same with consumables.
Making available for vessels navigational documents like updated charts, Naval clearance and NIWA stickers.

Key Achievements:

We were able to achieve two exports in one month December 2020
S  result, the companys revenue increased astronomically

Assisting with investigation in accidents or incidents and prepare and submits reports to management for action.
Ensuring compliance where appropriate with the Companys Procedures and Policies in accordance with the requirements of the ISM Code,
Planning of crew change and manning and logistical provision.

This company is an engineering, procurement and construction company, they construct oil, gas and pipelines and platforms as well as maintenance for oil producing companies.

Acted as a mentor and motivator to the entire transport/logistics team specializing in strategic development and strategy planning.
In charge of the day to day operations of the transport/logistics department, efficiently managing a team of drivers/crews and vehicles/vessels.
Responsible for all of the dispatching, routing, and tracking of delivery vehicles/vessels.
Dispatching complex and oversized goods to national and project sites destinations.
Ensuring company compliance of all transport policies, legislation and procedures to do with TACHO graph etc.
