My name is Michael and I am a Java Software Developer with 4 years experience. I am a solution oriented backend engineer and  I am dedicated to building software applications in the most innovative manner. 
In 2019, I worked with ALX as a Java Software Developer. This role was a part time role because I was just rounding off with school. So, At ALX, I was able to design and build scalable restful apis, I also learned the adoption of software development lifecycle

principles for software applications that meet industry standards. After that I got a job with Xantos Labs, there I was able to maintain standard coding practices by designing reusable and reliable codes.
I also implemented and conducted automated unit testing using the Mockito framework, also in the same company I supported  a technical team of 6 to maintain quality standards and ensure responsiveness of an application.  In 2021, I joined Decagon as Java Software Engineer. I have been able to implement an API for a fintech application that screens transactions for fraudulent activities thereby securing the application against fraud and ensuring it meets compliance and regulatory standards, also I was able to implement payment gateway using paystack for a fintech application and I collaborate with other developers to identify and fix software bugs.
