A registered mental health nurse, with more than 2 years of experience acquired while working in different cultural settings in urban and rural Ghana. I am a polyvalent and hardworking team player who is also capable of working independently. Friendly with good interpersonal relationship, and has the zeal to work in any given capacity both locally and internationally.
My objective is
To work and excel in a role where my professional experience and educational abilities will be fully utilized to contribute effectively and efficiently towards the set targets of my prospective whilst keeping abreast with new technologies and learning from other’s experiences.

     • Building therapeutic relationships.
• Administration of medication, monitoring therapeutic, adverse and side effects.
• Admission of psychiatric patients.
• Discharge planning
• Feeding of psychiatric patients
• Making of referrals to major psychiatric hospitals.
• Liaising with doctors, social workers and other professionals who care for the patients.
• Reviewing care plans and monitoring progress.
• Rendering of basic counseling to patients where necessary
• Provide emotional support to patients and patients' family members.
• Mentoring of newly qualified staff
• Rehabilitation of clients discharged from the psychiatric hospital to the community.
