Over the years, I have built up diverse skillsets, qualities, and experience to propel me in my career. I am HCPC registered with a BSC Hons in Radiography and Radiological Sciences, and an up to date knowledge of conventional Radiography imaging modalities, Computed Tomography, ultrasonography, special examinations under fluouroscopy, gained through post-graduate training, experience and study. I have a post graduate diploma in Medical Ultrsound 2019 and a Certificate of Competency in Computed Tomography 2013, alongside recent CPDs.
As a forward-thinking and innovative professional, able to provide exceptional first-line contact, both face-to-face and via the telephone or email with various stakeholders/departments, staff, physicians, patients, I am committed to building and managing high-performing teams to   regularly surpass organizations’ expectations.

On a general note, I derive satisfaction that in everything I set out to achieve, I ensure that it is completed to a high personal and professional standard and within given time frame, through diligence, conscientiousness, detail orientated, and excellent organizational skills.

Preparing examinations rooms and equipment for patient examinations.
Creating quality diagnostic images with the use of Conventional X-ray, Fluoroscopy, Computed Tomography to help physicians
diagnose patients.
 

Taking full responsibility for the justification of general X-Ray examinations in order to reduce unnecessary ionising radiation exposure of patients in accordance with IR (ME) R 2000. Taking responsibility for radiation safety in the work area and checking equipments for malfunctions and errors.

Interpreting information and offering personalized recommendations for patient care, and organizing diagnostic images to match with patient records. Providing support and reassurance to patients, taking into account their physical and psychological needs.
 

Coping with patients after prolonged therapeutic relationships have been developed, and managing clinical situations where visually distressing sights of open wounds and injury occur and to ensure the support of other team members in this situation.
 

Organization of daily tasks independently using own initiative in response to departmental needs.
 

Tutoring of Students and Intern radiographers and preparing their weekly rota. Supervising Radiography and imaging support
assistants.

Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Radiography and Radiological Sciences. A course dedicated to the production of high resolution images of the body for diagnostic purposes, with the use of x-ray.
