I have over twenty years work experiences with the banking sector, international and national NGOs in Nigeria such as World Education Inc. (LEAP/USAID project), WaterAid Nigeria ( DFID, EU, UNICEF, WB Projects), Catholic Relief Services Nigeria program (CDC & USAID) AIDS Prevention Initiative in Nigeria (APIN) (CDC& GF), Deloitte Consulting Overseas Project (SIDHAS/USAID project), Friends for Global Health Initiative in Nigeria (CDC project), Action Against Hunger (AAH), Chemonics International SHARP TO3 USAID Nigeria project as grants accountant, partner support and organization development officer, Finance and compliance officer, human resource manager, grants administrator, capacity/systems specialist/organizational development team lead and Grants and Compliance manager and Finance and admin Manager providing grants and compliance management, capacity building and organizational development, project management, finance and accounting and administration, sub-award management, donor reporting and proposal writing 
  • Great attention to detail: Finance, administration, Grants and compliance duties require high attention to detail, in proposal writing, award and sub-award management, budget development and management, expenditure tracking, financial/donor reporting, reviews and analysis, complying with rules and regulations with great interpersonal skills: I am an amiable person and able to interact with colleagues effectively in a multi-cultural environment often at close and a distance.

I have a BSc degree in accounting and I am a chartered Accountant and a chartered management specialist and awaiting the award of a masters’ degree from Ahmadu Bello University Zaria. Along with over twenty years of experience and increasing responsibility, I can offer your organization excellent written and oral communication skills, expertise in planning and budgeting processes including the ability to provide clear guidance on donor policies and procedures, expertise in financial reporting, review and analysis, excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills, strong ability to prioritize own workload and work with minimal supervision, expertise to work with, train and coach staff with differing levels of skills and willing eagerness  to travel globally. I Hands-on experience with accounting software and a desire to learn and a passion for helping management succeed. I am familiar with accounting soft wares such as Quickbooks, Sage and SUN

My motivations include learning new things, the challenge of meeting the needs of an organization, and ensuring high-quality outcomes.
