I haiI, from Isiala Mbano LGA in Imo State and I'm 56 year old. I hold a master of science degree in finance and a bachelor of science degree in accounting.  A fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria, an associate of Chartered institute of taxation of Nigeria and a Certified Information Systems Auditor of the Information Systems Audit and Control Association Illinois USA. I have over 28 years experience in diverse industries and sectors and  have achieved over 80% cost reduction and recovered over #5bn.   • Ensure efficient running of the office and the maintenance of all office facilities.
  • Process and pay all bill, salaries (etc.) pertaining to the smooth running of the State Agency.

  • Strengthen the Internal Control System to eliminate waste and safeguard the Agency’s Assets.

  • Liaise with banks, tax authorities, and other regulatory agencies on behalf of the State Agency.
  • Ensure all taxes due to the Federal and State Government are deducted and remitted promptly and accurately.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly reports on financing progress of Micro-projects in their Community Development Plans (CDPs)/Group Development Plans(GrDPs)
  • Prepare Financing Agreement between the Communities and the State Agency to guide the implementation of the CDPs/GrDPs
  • Prepare timely Quarterly Financial Management Reports (FMRs)
  • Prepare monthly Statement of Expenditure (SOE) for timely fund replenishment
  • Prepare timely Quarterly Interim Financial Report (IFR) for Federal Project Support Unit (FPSU) and the Funding Agency.
  • Assist the GM in the day to day running of the State Agency.
  • Review financial transactions of communities in line with general guidelines issued by the State Agency, Federal Project Support Unit (FPSU) and Funding Agencies, and report to the GM.
  • Offer training and capacity building in areas of financial management, record keeping and other related matters to Communities and staff.

·       Coordinated the development of approved LGA Grant proposals/applications through Community participatory approach for 2011, 2012, 2013 & 2014 under the MDGs CGS-LGAs track, for 7 (Seven) LGAs with sustainability plan and M & E framework. Which led to the building and equipping of more than 40(forty) primary schools, 30(thirty) primary health centers, construction and rehabilitation of more than 50(fifty) Motorized/Solar boreholes and remarkable improvement in health conditions of community members by the training and deployment of Village Health Workers (VHW) etc.

·       Coordinated the development of MDGs Compliant LGA Development Plan, which strategically guided the development and implementation of the annual LGA budget for 3 years, to ensure coordinated LGA investments.

·       Coordinated the activities of the MDGs LG Technical Team in 7 LGAs in Imo State, which led to the development and implementation of approved LGA interventions that met the needs and yearning of communities.

·       Coordinated Project monitoring, supervision and evaluation for LGs and State CGS project interventions, which ensured that initial objectives for interventions were achieved.

·       Monitored, Supervised and reported on CGS to LGAs and CGS to State interventions projects to CGS unit and Imo State Project Support Unit (PSU) in a timely and accurate manner.

·       Prepared monthly report of activities and project interventions outcomes, timely and accurately.

·       Participated in Data collection in the Baseline Facility Inventory (BFI) Survey and Needs Assessment in LGAs in Imo State, which led to online documentation of all facilities in Imo State.

·       Monitored and reported on BFI exercise as well as provided Logistics Support for BFI Enumerators, which ensured that the exercise met with its initial objective.

·       Engaged Communities in Project identification, Selection, prioritization, execution and monitoring, which ensured that developed proposals met the felt needs and yearning of communities.

  • Prepared work plan and budget estimates for CGS-LG activities at the LGA/Community levels, which ensured interventions were timely and targeted impact achieved.

·       Kept record on behalf of the CGS Project Tender Board and conducted all procurement processes in accordance with Public Procurement Act 2007, as it's relates to CGS project Tenders in Imo State.

·       Supported the Imo State Project Support Unit (PSU) in planning and organizing tenders.

·       Worked with relevant State MDAs and Imo state PSU to carry out appropriate market and statistical surveys.

·       Worked with State PSU to prepare analysis of the cost implications of the proposed procurement for approval by CGS Project Tenders Committee.

·       Coordinated the activities of Southeastern TAs by gathering necessary and relevant data from TAs as requested by the Head CGS, summarizing and submitting to the Head, CGS.
