My name is Jerod Nathan Flaum, I am a permanent resident in Kwa Zulu Natal on the East Coast of South Africa, when I am not fulfilling obligations in and around Africa. I have 37 years’ experience in hospitality, and am currently based in, Nigeria working for BON Hotels as a cluster General manager

Having 37 years’ experience in hotels, and Food and Beverage Management I believe I would be true asset to any company and am equipped to manage and develop your hotel to achieve the highest standards. 

I pride myself on service excellence with the customer or guest service journey my most important objective. My goal is to find and mentor true hoteliers among the students and employees, to bring out the best in people and develop them to their full potential. 

I am financially astute to ensure profitability and longevity for my owners and company. Being the meticulous and focused individual I am, with almost an obsessive-compulsive personality in ensuring excellence; I drive hotel standards and service delivery to new levels.  

I believe I am a good team player and a true leader, with an ability to overcome adversity, helping to initiate change and most importantly lead people through change.8

I have 37 years of experience in a variety of hotels and positions in South Africa, Nigeria and Uganda. I have always worked in Hotels and for more than 20 years been GM or Regional.
