I am an experienced development specialist with vast knowledge of social service system delivery in a multicultural setting with in-depth knowledge of INGO-funded programs in Accounting Management and Reporting, Budget Management, Internal Control, emergencies, response and flood preparedness and Education. I have great enthusiasm for system strengthening, influencing, diplomacy and leadership, advocacy, program management, and coordination of project activities, Education activities, community-level mobilization and advocacy, planning, designing, and implementation of projects management, technical assistance and accompaniment, educational management and practice, logistic management, performance planning, and capacity building with experience acquired over the years.

I have demonstrated track record of improved healthcare in Niger State, Nigeria. My background includes serving as Local Government Communication for Development and social Behavior change mobilization Consultant SBC for UNICEF project on Routine Immunization and Polio Eradication Initiative, flood and education. I Mobilized resources and funds allocations for health interventions activities for UNICEF and WHO, monitoring and evaluation of quality implementation of health interventions, advocacy visit to stakeholders for priorities in the health sector. I coordinate and supervise social mobilization and communication activities at State/LGA level. I also oversee the activities of 110 volunteer community mobilizers and supervisors in hard-to-reach areas for demand creation on polio vaccination and Maternal & Child health; tracking of newborns and pregnant women and referral for ANC and RI services in the health facilities. I also participated in the conduct of Routine Immunization supportive supervision, Monitoring and evaluation of Health facilities and disease surveillance, supportive supervision and cold chain inventory survey and management, micro plans, training of independent monitors, ward focal persons on vaccine management and accountability I have over 11 years of cognate work experience in using evidence to inform and guide interventions and strengthen the capacity of both governments, and local and private organizations in Nigeria.

I hold a Master’s degree in Health Economics (MHE), Master’s degree in Development Studies (MSc), Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA), Bachelor’s degree in Economics (BSc Ed) as well as Nigerian Certificate in Education in Political Science & Economics (N.C.E)
