As a dedicated tenacious and resourceful HSSE scaffolding professional. CISRS/CSCS Certified Overseas Advanced Scaffold Inspector. I have spent the bulk of 15 years career in supervising and inspecting and  management roles, championing best practice, and prioritising safety and welfare on major international projects.

My working life has taken me to Oman, Singapore and Ghana and even farther afield on major projects encompassing new build, LNG Plants, FPSO, riser repair project, APM terminal extension project and shipyards, etc, and I have been able to hone a diverse skillset along the way, specialising in scaffolding safety and security. I pride myself on being able to integrates seamlessly into any scale of role and operation, and make a meaningful difference from the outset.

Throughout my career so far, I have been able to improve processes, champion HSSE practices and take the lead on the creation and implementation of safety programs, and standards spanning a multitude of cultures, localities and projects, I wouldn't have gotten anywhere, however, without the teams I work with, manage and train, and it has been my pleasure to effectively coordinate large teams, with a variety of skillset, oversee training designed to produce professionals with the skills needed to tackle any project safely and effectively, and collaborate to deliver on key work procedures and safe working standard.

My experience is supported, and has been bolstered along the way, by extensive training and development, including the

To review e-PTW guidelines, JSEA, JHA and Method Statements for all Critical and Complex Scaffolding activities prior to commencement of work, ensure that the correct selection of tools & equipment & FPE/PPE are being maintained, recorded on a regular basis and used in the appropriate manner.
To demonstrate the correct use of steel tube & fitting scaffolding or system/modular scaffolding to main contractor personnel where the necessity for training or further training is required as per BS12811-1 standards and COMPANY Work Management
To monitor, enforce and record the regular maintenance plan of COMPANY NPO access scaffolding equipment by the contractor (clips, boards, identification).
To attend mandatory contractor tool box talk meetings on a daily basis to monitor the accuracy of the subject matter and to offer technical input and advice where applicable.
To attend daily progress meeting and offer assistance with the coordination of personnel, materials and provide technical advice where appropriate.
To attend all pre-task meetings and ascertain contractor personnel roles and responsibilities prior to work commencement.
To monitor the safe erection, modification and dismantling of all access scaffolding in alignment with EMDC WAH (Working at Height) Expectations, COMPANY Safety Manual, COMPANY Work Management Procedures, COMPANY Rescue from Height Plan, OIMS policies and current industry SG4:08 (Scaffolding) working at height regulations.
To perform regular checks that safety equipment such as Rescue from height packs, FBH and SRL's are being used correctly and maintained and periodically recorded within the required manufacturer's guidelines.
To routinely monitor work performance and record all project scaffolding access activities using provided electronic or hard copy format and to submit to the COMPANY Construction Manager on a daily basis.To inspect, certify and record all project and platform based access scaffolding when required. To periodically inspect all access scaffolding every seven days or after modification, severe weather conditions or impact as required by current COMPANY and scaffolding industry regulations.
