Quality Management System

  • Managed and maintained the QMS documentation compliance for all active projects at the organization. Identified systems that enable easier means of maintaining the QMS standards at the organization using various quality tools. Developed and updated the QMS manual at the organization to fit with the ARUP’s global standards and global ISO standards. 
  • Carried out audits on various projects and departments to ensure they follow the specified procedures already stated in the QMS manual. Prepared the organisation for external ISO re-certification (ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 9001:2015) through regular internal audits of projects and procedures.

  • DMAIC - Applied Six Sigma principles and methodology in identifying and resolving Quality issues in the manufacturing of products (tissue paper) within a Six Sigma Black Belt projects. Project at Hygiene products manufacturing company achieved an estimate cost reduction of over 2M Swedish ≈ $300,000.
  • Statistical MS Excel analysis & Testing –Systematically selected and carried out testing of specific processes identified to be critical to quality using MS Excel TM & Minitab TM. Analysis of the results identified the areas where quality problem existed. 
  • Waste Reduction & Increased Efficiency – Project critically achieved a reduction in waste in terms of man-power hours and rework in manufacturing. Established an increased in production on the shop floor as a direct result of reduced occurrence of quality problem. 
  • Improved Customers’–Established satisfaction and increase in customers’ satisfaction for both internal & external customers as result of an increase in quality of the final product.
