I am a highly skilled and dedicated Finance Officer with 3 years of experience in the Plateau Peace Building Agency's project in partnership with the German Agency for International Corporation, "Strengthening capacities for peacebuilding and conflict resolution in Nigeria's Middle Belt (PEACECORE)."  

I have a degree in Management Studies from Plateau State University and a National Diploma in Business Administration and Management from the Federal Polytechnic of Bauchi, which has equipped me with a comprehensive understanding of administrative functions and practices. 

I am proficient in a wide range of computer applications, including Microsoft Office/Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), internet/web usage, and QuickBooks financial software, SharePoint development amongst so many others.  

My exceptional IT capabilities enable efficient data management and financial analysis. I have been privileged to undergo the following training: Corporate Finance Fundamentals, Accounting Fundamentals, Excel Fundamentals-Formulas for Finance, Successful leadership skills, Personal security, Research, coordination, and partnership which has further enhanced my ability to excel in a collaborative work environment.

1. Finance/Admin Officer, Plateau Peace Building Agency (3 years) 

  • Worked on the "Strengthening capacities for peacebuilding and conflict resolution in Nigeria's Middle Belt (PEACECORE)" project in partnership with the German Agency for International Cooperation. 
  • Managed financial operations and ensured compliance with budgetary guidelines. 
  • Prepared financial reports, monitored project expenses, and conducted financial analysis. 
  • Collaborated with team members to ensure effective project implementation and coordination. 
  • Maintained accurate financial records and facilitated audits. 

2. Enumerator/Data Entry Clerk, Nigeria Early Recovery Initiative (NERRI) in partnership with Plateau Peace Building Agency, supported by Creative Associates International and USAID 

  • Collected and entered data for project monitoring and evaluation purposes. 
  • Conducted surveys and interviews to gather information from beneficiaries. 
  • Ensured data accuracy and performed data quality checks. 
  • Collaborated with the project team to analyze and interpret data for reporting. 
  • Assisted in the preparation of reports and presentations based on collected data. 

3. IT Program Assistant (Volunteer), Plateau Peace Building Agency 

  • Provided IT support and assistance in implementing various programs. 
  • Maintained and updated computer systems and software. 
  • Assisted in organizing and conducting IT training sessions for staff. 
  • Supported the development and implementation of IT strategies. 
  • Ensured the security and confidentiality of sensitive information.

1. Bachelor of Science in Management Studies, Plateau State University: 

  • Obtained a BSc degree in Management Studies, equipping me with a comprehensive understanding of management principles and practices. 
  • Developed strong analytical and problem-solving skills through coursework in areas such as organizational behavior, strategic management, marketing, and finance. 
  • Cultivated effective communication and interpersonal skills through group projects, presentations, and discussions. 
  • Gained a solid foundation in business administration, allowing me to apply theoretical knowledge to real-world scenarios. 

2. National Diploma in Business Administration and Management, Federal Polytechnic of Bauchi: 

  • Attained a National Diploma in Business Administration and Management, providing a practical understanding of key business functions. 
  • Acquired knowledge in areas such as business law, accounting, economics, marketing, and entrepreneurship.
