I am an accounting professional with big four experience in business process evaluation, finance transformation, financial reporting and advisory, IFRS advisory, and project management. I have a history of providing consistent leadership in the financial areas of a business. My experience cuts across international donor organizations, the oil & gas industry, FMCG, and the financial services industry. I am a chartered accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria and a resourceful team player with well-developed supervisory skills and a strong analytical mindset.

  • Prepare statutory financial statements (group, single, interim) for clients in various industries.
  • Develop technical accounting working papers providing technical guidance on complex accounting issues to internal and external auditors.
  • Spearhead the implementation of the finance transformation (shared services, financial close, general ledger/ERP management) process by working closely with the finance team.
  • Perform month-end close activities for clients and design month-end close checklists.
  • Support clients with all sorts of reconciliation (balance sheet reconciliation, asset reconciliation, bank reconciliation etc.)
  • Review of general ledgers, process workflow, financial reports, and budgets for clients in various industries.
  • Redesign organization charts and create performance measurements (KPIs, business driver-based metrics)
  • Conduct a comprehensive mapping of the finance process's current and future business state using the Deloitte Industry Print Modeler.
  • Review clients' internal controls and implement and restructure them according to industry best practices.
  • Formulate accounting policies and procedures for clients and develop a functional finance architecture with processes and policies that drive all financial transactions.
  • Discover new client opportunities for business and notify the management team as necessary.
  • Mentor team members by exchanging information and expertise and adequately evaluating their work.
  • Carry out project management activities, including pre-engagement planning for engagement, proposals, agreeing on timelines, team briefings, quoting, scoping etc.
  • Prepare single and consolidated budgets for clients, cashflow forecast dashboards and other financial analyses.
