Dolapo Olakanmi

Hi there, My name is Dolapo Olakanmi, I am a Software Engineer. I have experience building android and iOS applications using both native tools and cross platform tools. I have professional experience with tools like Kotlin, Java, Swift, SwiftUI, and React Native.
I currently work for Tangerine Africa as an Android Mobile Engineer. One of my goals is to impact, essentially adding value to the society using technology. The Tangerine Africa application currently has over 50,000 downloads and it is used globally.
Some of my achievements are coming first runner up at an hackathon called SECURE LAGOS HACKATHON and building a public library which is essentially a story-view.

I am Software Engineer with over half a decade of experience in Android development, iOS Development and Backend Development
My first Job was in High Tech Synergy with the role Software Engineer from 2015 to 2019; We had several applications from a club management system, Ride hailing system, and Sales Automation. My role here was to build shells that house web applications for mobile. Essentially using WebViews and its APIs for Android and WKWebview and its APIs for iOS. I wrote Stored Procedures using SQL and wrote APIs using WCF.

Then I moved on to TRU as a Mobile Engineer from 2020 to 2021. TRU is a ride hailing solution. My role here is building UI, implementing business logic for both android and iOS.

Then I moved to Tangerine as an Android Engineer from 2021 till date. where my role is to build pension and insurance solutions.
