My name is Vivian, I am a registered dental therapist, I graduated in the year 2018 and completed my internship placement in the year 2020. I finished my National Youth Service on 17th May, 2022.

Furthermore,  I offer both preventive and therapeutic services to both patients and clients with the aim of maintaining good oral health and promoting general well being. I love educating and enlightening the general public who are ignorant of the role their oral health play in their health and wellness.

Hence,  I love undegoing researches and I went further to improve myself by undergoing an online course in Basic Life Support.

• Maintained dental equipments and sterilized dental instruments.
   
• Charted carious lesions for decay and disease for diagnosis and 
  treatment by the dentist.
   
• Provided clinical services and health education to motivate and 
  maintain oral health of patients and clients.
   
• Examined gums using probes to locate Periodontitis, recessed 
  gums and signs of gum diseases.
   
• carried out oral prophylaxis to remove oral deposits from the 
  teeth and beneath the gum margins using manual and 
  electrical dental instruments.
   
• Conducted oral health education for community and groups to 
  augment services of the dentist
   
• Administered therapeutic agents for tooth whitening and the 
  prevention of dental caries and tooth sensitivity.
   
• Examined dental conditions by the use of dental x-rays to 
  diagnose certain oral conditions.

Higher National Diploma in Dental Therapy from Federal College of Dental Technology and Therapy.
