About Chinee Obiamaka Iloabanafor:
Mrs Obiamaka Chinee is a motivated, dynamic and experienced Public Health Professional. An energetic and team spirited person, with a strong work ethic, able to fill strategic roles related to the management of public health related funded projects.
She is very passionate about contributing to global public health programmes. She possesses an outstanding comprehension of project and operations management within public health environments and will usually bring to the table, a real life experience of the following areas: project management, stakeholder management, project delivery and implementation, capacity development, human resource management, change management, monitoring, evaluation, reporting and learning.
She has consistently exceeded all goals set for her in the workplace and her experience covers the understanding and compliance of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), United States President’s Emergency Plan for Aids Relief (PEPFAR) regulations, as pertains to project delivery, monthly and quarterly reporting, stakeholder engagement and collaborations with program implementing partners from both the profit and non-profit sectors.
She spearheaded the monitoring and evaluation of a five year PEPFAR funded scholarship fund awarded to a private institution in Johannesburg. She also, managed a Capacity Development Support (CDS) program funded by the USAID in consortium partnership with FHI 360 within her then organization, the Foundation for Professional Development (FPD). In addition, she provided overall technical oversight to the project, including the development of capacity building interventions tailor made for the five Early Childhood Household Stimulation (ECHS) partners in Johannesburg, funded through the same grant.
Obiamaka derives genuine pleasure from monitoring and evaluating programs, to determine its effectiveness whilst changes can still be effected during the course of the project, in order to improve the overall impact before the end of the project’s cycle. In her last role as Operations Manager for the Integrated Health Systems and Strengthening (IHSS) unit within her organization FPD, she provided operational guidance to the effective development of the unit until the end of the project in 2019.
In addition to the above, she is able to analyze project implementation plans and provide transformatory insights that lead to creative solutions and value. Her advanced qualification in Public Health and certificates in global health management, M&E and Project Management, has immensely contributed to the exceptional work she proffers as an employee.
Obiamaka is a public health adept, a fast learner with the drive and knack for delivering results as well as exceeding expectations. She is an articulate and very focused person in her attitude at work and has a reputation for training, capacitating, mentoring and coaching other employees in various areas.
