About Chimakpam Nzeh:

I am a Talent Acquisition Partner in the financial service industry with over 6 years experience in sourcing, acquisition, management and retention. I have experience in HR project, reporting and is instrumental in the development of initiatives required for business sustainability in the ever VUCA( Volatile, Uncertain,Changing and Ambiguous)world.

Experience

Work with Career & Knowledge Management (L&D) to ensure utilisation of the assessment and 
development centre as part of the recruitment process.
• Actively contributes to the implementation of an efficient, quality driven candidate sourcing strategy with 
a consistent, transparent and cost-effective recruitment processes.
• Develop recruitment strategy for new financial year (how to attract the right people, head hunting, etc.)
• In collaboration with Head, Talent Management, review corporate strategic plans to understand shifts in 
manpower requirements for the bank.

Contribute significantly to the bank’s overall talent strategy and contribute to long term financial and 
workforce objectives.
• Develop and implement strategies for effective resourcing, that will ensure that the bank has the required 
skills to meet current and future needs.
• Ensure only competent candidates are recruited and selected for appropriate roles

Conduct regular follow-up meetings with managers to determine the effectiveness of recruiting 
implementation.
• Work with line managers to ensure job descriptions are available for staff/ new recruits.
• Ensure line managers complete and also get the talent requisition forms approved. 
• Carry out first level screening of candidate’s resume and job application 
• Efficiently fill vacant positions and ensure alignment with approved manning levels.
• Source and attract candidates by using databases, social media etc.
• Keep up to date with the latest developments in the field of recruitment and selection.
• Arrange management interviews by coordinating schedules; arranges travel, lodging, and meals
• Work with line managers to review the assessment questions in readiness for interview
• Participate in interviews for candidate, providing other members of the panel with required information 
and ensuring procedures are adhered to.
• Develop and track measurable facets of the recruiting and hiring process so that the processes are 
transparent and measurable.
