About Charles Okougbo:
Charles Okougbo is a mechanical engineer with more than 10years experience in
operation and maintenance in gas turbine power plant. He has be involved in
commissioning/reliability run on most of the NIPP/NDPHC subsidiary plants (Frame 9E
GE gas fired turbines along with their auxiliary equipment and balance of plant (BOP))
like that of Ihovbor, Alaoji, and Gbarain plant respectively.
He currently work at Benin Generation company ltd (subsidiary of NIPP/NDPHC) where
he started as a mechanical technician, went through operations and grown to the
position of a central control room operator (CCR). Few to mention in his responsibilities
includes; carried out both Periodic and corrective maintenance jobs, involves in the
dismantling and installations of gas turbine parts during outage, operation of automated
power plant Frame 9E GE gas fired turbines along with their auxiliary equipment/BOP,
and attend technical and planning meetings for job planning. Charles o. is honest, a
team player, self-starter, fast articulating and impeccable in character.
