RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Conducting due diligence on counter parties involved in structured trade transactions, including financial analysis, creditworthiness assessment, and evaluation of their ability to fulfill contractual obligations. 
• Assessing the quality and reliability of underlying assets involved in the transactions. Evaluating private credit transactions and Principal trades within business sectors in Africa. Create credit memos and deliver presentations to the Head of Credit risk, outlining the findings and analysis. 
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including traders, relationship managers, legal professionals, and risk management colleagues. 
• Facilitating effective communication to ensure a thorough understanding of structured trade transactions and associated risks. 
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Data Science teams to jointly create technological solutions that enable unique data insights at every stage of the credit decisioning process while also establishing scalable and automated workflows. 
• Establishing trade dynamics for finance requests and providing recommendations to the Head of Credit Risk. 
• Monitors the credit portfolio and evaluate the risk of potential default while recommending recovery solutions. 
•  Provides daily/weekly collection/payment schedules to customers and the commercial team while ensuring prompt and timely repayments as per schedule. 
• Follow up with the commercial team to reconcile payments received and real time transaction posting Flexibility to carry out any other task as requested by ManagemenT
