I am a committed humanitarian worker with vast experience in GBV Case management, child protection and general program implementation across varying contexts. My objective is to contribute to the well-being of individuals, while working in a dedicated and focused establishment and devote myself to making a positive impact while learning in the process and adding value to an organization through team work and actualize productivity with a proven ability to ensure that set target and indicators are met even within close deadlines while working with project staff.
Experience
Conducting weekly case management and case conferencing meetings
Assisting the senior protection officer in preparing/compiling monthly reports and work plans.
Assessing women and children's immediate needs, developing immediate care and treatment goals, and implementing and monitoring women and children clients care action plans.
Providing basic emotional support (based on the IASC MHPSS guidelines pyramid) for each case and for their close family member as required.
case management of Gender Based Violence incidences and ensure proper documentation, assessment, case plan implementation, follow up and information management of all GBV cases in line with GBVIMS+
Referring client to appropriate services and when necessary directly accompany them to different service providers. plan and conduct service awareness with the protection Officer and local NGOs
Identifying and reporting gaps in the availability and quality of service provision for client in the target area.
Documenting cases and ensuring that any progress on the individual therapeutic intervention plan and any significant change in the client's psycho-social well-being and overall situation is duly recorded in a timely fashion.
Participating in individual supervision sessions on a weekly basis with the PSS. Team lead, bringing immediate attention to any case of special/emergency needs
Acting as referral focal point for INTERSOS case management in the geographical area of coverage under her/his responsibility and distribute the cases between the Case Workers according to the level of experience and complexity of case.
Conducting community workshops to promote different programme and educate public on available services.
Educating families and community members about domestic violence, including its impact on children
