Babatunde Tope

I am Babatunde Tope Segun, a dedicated Civil Engineer with a comprehensive background in managing diverse tools and materials across various job sites and work locations. Based in Lagos, Nigeria, I have consistently demonstrated a strong commitment to adhering to safety and regulation standards, ensuring the successful completion of projects.

My professional journey includes a significant stint with the 16 Brigade Army Headquarters in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State, where I completed a year of National Youth Service. During this period, I was responsible for site supervision, taking field measurements, calculating quantities for subcontractor payments, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

I also gained valuable experience during my one-year industrial training and a four-month Students Industrial Work Experience Scheme (SIWES) with the Ministry of Works and Infrastructure in Akure, Ondo State. My responsibilities included conducting on-site construction inspections, coordinating construction work activities with project team members, and tracking workforce equipment and labor.

Academically, I hold an HND in Civil Engineering from The Federal Polytechnic Ado Ekiti, which I completed in November 2022, following an OND in the same field from the same institution in November 2019.

I possess strong communication skills, leadership qualities, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. My core competencies include excellent interpersonal relationship skills, a great passion for knowledge and information, and the ability to handle confidential information with integrity.

In addition to my professional skills, I am proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office, and have some experience in web development. My interests outside of work include designing, networking, traveling, reading, football, and music.

I am enthusiastic about bringing my expertise in civil engineering to new and challenging projects, and I look forward to contributing to the success and growth of innovative infrastructure initiatives.
