Developed a Core Bank Application with features such as user management, GL categories and postings, account configuration, and end-of-day logic for daily interests and expenses calculation.
Built a middleware API application that integrates with core banking applications of Access, Heritage, Eco and Lotus banks, and exposed different APIs for Core Banking, Card Management, User Management, and Security. Supported a self-hosted windows microservice that handles communication between external hardware devices and computers for hardware related operations such as Biometric validation, Card personalization, and card printing. Built a remote logger library to remotely control the self-hosted microservice, deployed on over 1000 branches of different banks, to perform specific operations like remotely restarting the window service and pulling specific logs based on date and time.
Built the Prime middleware checker API library that confirms the availability of services provided by the bank during a project cutover, including querying HSM and calling stored procedures on the DB servers.
Wrote stub/mock APIs to simulate services provided by the bank for regression tests and development work by the front-end developers when the services/APIs provided by the bank is not reachable.
Oversaw the Prime self-service project, a kiosk machine that enables a bank customer to get an end-to-end prepared ATM card without any bank staff interference, and completed a POC for 3 other banks during that period. Created build configurations for projects on Team City, wrote powershell scripts for automated IIS deployments on Octopus deploy, and used Postman and JavaScript for testing REST APIs.
Held training sessions with support staff to put them through on providing support for bank staff using services, outlining several issues that might be encountered, providing resolution points and highlighting debugging strategies. Used GIT, Bitbucket for version control, JIRA for task management, deployed solutions into Production Environments and Provided Technical Support (bug fixing, feature extensions, documentation).
