  • Provide technical support to supported facilities in establishing protocols for implementing TB/HIV integration, supporting state clinical teams to implement TB/HIV treatment and allied health services that are consistent with national guidelines.
  • Provided technical support in pediatrics transition program from infected children through adolescence to adult improving pediatrics retention, positive adjustment and better QOL.
  • Provided technical support of pediatric regimen optimization of ART to achieve best clinical outcomes and improved quality of life.
  • Ensure quality and timely reporting of Logistics Management Information System reports (CRRF and PPR) and quality data entry into the National Health Logistics Management Information System (NHLMIS)for supported facilities in Ekiti state to ensure appropriate stock level of health commodities (ARVs and OIs).
  • Ensure proper logistics management by monitoring stock of commodities and their consumption at health facility levels, assisting in the redistribution of commodities to meet consumption needs of in-need facilities, making correct order for commodities, validating supply, and flagging supply gaps, aimed at ensuring constant availability of medicines.
  • Monitors third-party logistics providers’ performance concerning the quality and timely delivery of commodities to supported facilities.
  • Engage with Stakeholders through state and regional PSM-TWG meetings; reviewing strategies, steps taken, challenges met, and mapping out the way forward Management, through training and motivation of available Human Resources to optimally drive project targets and produce results. 
  • Mentor facility pharmacy personnel on commodity inventory management and use of inventory control tools and records such as the tally cards and daily worksheet, while ensuring all required health facility inventory checks are conducted routinely and all variances reconciled.
  • Ensure proper storage of commodities (HIV/AIDS, TB, Malaria,) in optimum conditions, ensuring First Expiry First Out (FEFO), to avert expiration of commodities.
  • Support the devolvement of HIV/AIDS stable clients to decentralized drug distribution models of their choice and provide technical support in the implementation of all approved Differentiated Service Delivery of care to clients.
  • Facilitate monitoring, detection, collation, and reporting of adverse drug reactions from the supported facilities
  • Provide technical support in strengthening Health systems and healthcare workers capacity on best practices and quality Healthcare in the areas of PMTCT, ART, TB care and reproductive health, monitoring and evaluation.

Pharmacy, Supply Chain and Logistics Optimizer

  • Provide technical support in strengthening pharmacy systems and pharmacists’ capacity on pharmacy best practices and quality pharmaceutical care in the areas of PMTCT, ART, TB care and reproductive health including ensuring drug inventory management across supported sites.
  • Responsible for developing, maintaining and improving a logistics management information system and an electronic inventory control system of stocking and tracking commodities.
  • Provide technical assistance to supported sites in the requisition, report and order of health commodities and tracking of re-supply.
  • Design coordinated systems for the transportation of health commodities, reporting and forecasting delivery times and performance analysis to reduce stock-outs, eliminate wastes and lower costs.
