I am a certified sociologist, certified project manager, safety professional, and human resource specialist with a keen interest in research, program management, and issues of high-level advocacy, with administrative and practical working experience. A graduate of Sociology from the University of Calabar and a master's degree in Industrial Sociology from the same University. I also have a post-graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management, Graduate Diploma in Environmental Health and Safety (Level II), and a Post Graduate Diploma in Project Management I am also a member of reputable professional bodies.

National Primary Health Care Development Agency (NPHCDA) and National Emergency Routine Immunization Coordination Center (NERICC)

  • Supports the DCL/IVAC government technical support portfolio, which will involve collaborating with the NPHCDA and other development partners to develop and update evidence-based and technically sound strategies for RI rollout and other NPHCDA programs
  • Improve detection and responsiveness in the resolution of RI gaps.
  • Supports the rollout of all RI rollout; identification of target priority, strategies for vaccines delivery and monitoring of Routine immunisation introduction
  • Supports the development of country-specific strategies and work plans and assists the NPHCDA team in managing effective implementation of the RI rollout planned activities, including adherence to timelines, and coordinating review and feedback from technical teams
  • Assess progress against goals and donor commitments to measure impact, identify program bottlenecks or weaknesses, and proffer devise solutions to strengthen programs as necessary.
  • Ensure the quality of products and documents produced by the assigned working group, including strategic plans, guidelines, standard operating procedures, presentations, project reports, and implementation updates.
  • Maintain strong relationships with partner organizations and initiatives working on immunization.
  • Represent DCL/IVAC at meetings and conferences where necessary.

Johnson & Johnson funded Mapping the Client Journey to COVID-19 Vaccination in sub-Saharan Africa (Nigeria) (COVAFRIC)

Aim: To generate insights to improve the delivery of, demand for, and uptake of the COVID-19 vaccines in sub-Saharan Africa, using Nigeria, Kenya, and Ethiopia as case studies

  • Participate in project training and debrief meetings
  • Contribute to the development of study protocols, data tools (quantitative and qualitative, including electronic data tools using ODK, and M&E plans
  • Coordinated project activities such as training, surveys, and supportive supervision.
  • Recruitment and screening of qualitative and quantitative implementing partners, supervisors and data enumerators

Aim: To fill the gap in the urgent need to thoroughly understand the socio-behavioral drivers and determinants of COVID-19 vaccination to inform targeted communication messaging and implementation strategies and increase vaccination uptake

  • Coordinate and support the implementation of TM-COVAC research activities, including study site visits, project partner interactions, data collectors training, and data collection
  • Participate in community engagement activities to select trusted messengers and develop community specific messages

Aim: To use participatory community-engaged strategies to develop and deliver a mobile SRH (mSRH) intervention package to increase access to and demand for CCES among IDWAGs in Durumi IDP camp in the FCT

 

  • Co-coordinate research project using Human center design to achieve project aim and objectives.
