Assist in the implementation of risk communication activities as part of the health response operations.
Supports evidence-based COVID-19 learning by assessing and monitoring levels of community engagement through supporting research, impact surveys, perception studies and case studies
Support the review of technical materials produced by the country office that require the integration of risk communication principles and practice on COVID-19.
Track false rumours and misinformation; and prepare responses to areas of concerns.
Support the revision risk communication materials such as public information; brochures, leaflets and posters; radio and TV scripts; guides for stakeholders for risk communication by providing input, and participate in their translation into local language and their adaptation for the local context.
Exchange information with counterparts in national authorities on conduct lessons learned to further strengthen emergency risk communication activities.

Responsibilities
With support from the Coordinator and/or other senior programme staff, develop monthly and quarterly plans and costed plans, contributing towards an overall thematic programme plan. From the strategy initiate programming in the following areas as appropriate:
Support to the psychosocial (physical, social, emotional) wellbeing of children with GBV survivors and their families.
Build volunteers’ capacity to provide direct and appropriate support services to GBV survivors
Prevention and response to all forms of exploitation including harmful child labour and child trafficking
Conduct direct follow up of GBV survivors through home visits and regular follow up visits based on survivors’ wishes and consent.
Follow GBV guiding principles of respect, confidentiality, and safety/security and non-discrimination while providing services to women and girls.
Monitor how the GBV referral pathway is working through making direct follow-ups with other organizations that are providing services to survivors.
With support from the lead Coordinator and/or other senior programme staff, prepare and review timely monthly reports submitted by partners and SCI Staff.
Work with the MEAL plan to ensure links to reporting requirements where possible, refer to the MEAL framework to build an evidence-base for child protection programming interventions including GBV survivors.
With support from the CRM/Accountability Officer put in place accountability activities for your project, ensuring that feedback from children and their families is considered in project design.
Ensure that the minimum standards of humanitarian relief are maintained in accordance with the Minimum Standards for Child Protection in Humanitarian Settings and the Sphere standard
Ensure survivors of gender-based violence are timely identified and provided counselling and other appropriate response services.
Ensure relevant referral forms are in place, implemented accordingly and coordinate monthly meetings including, parent’s forum and child protection committee
Postion: Gender Based Violence (GBV) Case Worker

Responsibilities
Provide direct, one-on-one and ongoing case management services, including safety planning
Provide direct, one-on-one emotional support to survivors throughout case management process including final case evaluation and closure
Provide referrals for survivors to other services including child protection and specialized mental health services, accompany of survivors where appropriate and conduct follow- up to ensure appropriate services have been provided to the survivor.
Identify gaps in referral services and report these gaps to the GBV Manager for action.
Liaise with community volunteers for purposes of survivor follow-up as part of case management to individual survivors.
Ensure survivor-centered services, including adherence to guiding principles of respect, confidentiality, safety and security and non-discrimination
Complete and maintain case management records to maximize confidentiality and safety
Participate in case review meetings and referral coordination meetings if needed
Submit case management reports on a weekly and monthly basis
Conduct an analysis of trends of GBV incidences and related information on a quarterly basis and present report to the GBV manager for advocacy and program future design
Submit weekly and monthly activities reports to the supervisor every Friday and at the end of each month
