Afiniki Ahmadu

Afiniki is an expert in the agricultural value chain development, agricultural policy, inclusive agribusiness development, financial inclusion for rural people, and sustainable rural development. She has over five years of working experience managing partnerships in animal and oil seeds industries, programs tailored towards sustainable and inclusive development. Her interest is creating an enabling environment for thriving agribusiness as part of economic growth and development. Postgraduate student at Ahmadu Bello University with a passion for Dairy Science.

Implementation of project activities in Nigeria for training/capacity building activities, business skills development, improved linkages along the oil palm value chain, and collaboration amongst actors. Facilitated training on oil palm management and post-harvest handling, group dynamics, and leadership skills for oil palm farmers in Edo state. Developed annual action plan and subgrants for business support service. Allocated resources according to budget and opportunities in line with the objectives of the partnership. Work closely and report to the Country Team Lead for 2SCALE-Nigeria. Signed MoU with IDH, The Trade Initiative on oil palm out growers’ scheme in Benin, Edo state.
