With Over Twelve years’ experience after graduating with a Bachelor of Technology in Food Science and Nutrition at the Federal University of Technology, Minna, I proceeded to the University of Ibadan where I earned my MSc in Human Nutrition from the College of Medicine, Faculty of Public Health because of my passion for nutritious and safe food for all and the destruction of the monster called Malnutrition. I am also work in Mandate Health Empowerment Initiative as the Project and Programme manager (Nutrition) with active Five years’ experience working with NGOs as a Nutritionist. I speak and write English, Yoruba and Hausa languages fluently but a French beginner.  
Strategic teamwork and effective collaboration have been the hallmark of my career and leadership style at all the organizations that I have had the privilege to work with. I bring an innovative lens to project development and insightfully implement project charter from incubation to completion.I am very good in Quality and Food safety management systems, management of personal health and hygiene of workers, general facility housekeeping, product handling practices, water quality, pest control, traceability, food safety audits, training, data management, management of departmental funds, liaise with regulatory bodies (NAFDAC, SON), ensure management of vendors with functional supply chain (price and quality), develop operations systems for best results at minimum cost while maintaining excellent quality standards. Furthermore, I ensure monitoring and adequate record keeping using manual operation and software operation( SPSS, TDA, ODK tableu). I am also proficient in Microsoft packages.
 
I am passionate about nutrition, health and wholeness and I have a scientific publication to my name- Nigeria Food Journal, Vol 28, No 2, 2010.

2020 - Now: Operations Manager, Halibiz Industries Ltd, Plot No 1361, Cadastral Zone C16, Idu Industrial Area 1 and Extension, FCT ABUJA.

Provides leadership and direction in all areas associated with FMCG.
Provides experience in designing, Implementing, and managing research related to Nutrition, Public Health and Agriculture. 
Planning and monitoring the day-to-day running of business to ensure smooth progress (Biscuits, Popcorn, Cheese balls, Potato Chips, Corn Chips, Table water, Flavoured water, Refresher drinks).  
Sound Professional experience in relevant research, program monitoring, evaluation, and knowledge mobilization areas in nutrition, public health and food systems.

2017 - 2020: Quality Assurance Manager, Food Merchants International Investments Ltd (Chicken Cottage Nigeria), 48, Aguyi Ironsi Street, Maitama, Abuja.

Conducted quality assurance and quality control to ensure consistency and standardization of finished products. While ensuring the design and implementation of research, evaluation, learning, and knowledge management activities under the digital QA/QC project.
Reviewed production process to ensure products meet national and international standards such as NIS, FAO, and GAIN etc.
Responsible for document management systems and creating quality assurance policies and procedures. In-addition, carrying out rigorous analyses on quantitative and qualitative data and develop data visualization.
Liaised with regulatory bodies such as NAFDAC and FAO for standards and work with suppliers to enhance efficiency in the supply chain management.
Identified training needs, implements training and awareness programs to ensure employees are up-to-date with quality systems and requirements.
Evaluated audit findings and implement appropriate corrective actions and also supporting in-country field implementation of research, evaluation, learning, and knowledge management activities.

2015 - 2017: Process Line Supervisor, Oriental Foods Industry Ltd KM 14, Ibadan- Lagos Express way, Ibadan, Oyo State.

Conducted recruitment, training and appraisal of talented employee.
Led the mixing and processing of Evaporated Milk and Tomato Paste using GEA Automated Machine as well as the mixing, processing, filling and packaging of dry Milk Powder while assuring Quality Parameters.
Oversaw the operation and maintenance of JBT and ZACMI Fillers, MESPACK and Seamer Machines.
Managed CIP and COP of equipment line to ensure conformity to hygiene and sanitation procedures
Ensured that the documentation of production processes and quality checks are updated regularly.

2013 - 2015: Preparatory and Mixing Supervisor, Boulos Foods & Beverages Limited Ibadan.

Managed all day-to-day operations within budgeted guidelines.
Supervised tomato paste, fruit concentrate, evaporated milk and sugar syrup preparation and buffer.
Ensured efficient quality check was carried out and documented on raw materials used in production. 
Led CIP preparation as well as line and blending station monitoring to conform to hygiene and sanitation procedures.

FIELD EXPERIENCE

2022:  Independent Monitors for MNCHW IN ABIA STATE- Federal Monitor

Maternal, Newborn and Child Health Week (MNCHW) to determine the feasibility of distributing micronutrient powders (MNP) for home fortification.
Assessing caregivers of children 6-59months of age attending health- service distribution events
Assessing the knowledge and delivery of MNO by health workers.


2021:   Mandate Health Empowerment Initiative Volunteer - Project and Programme 
Manager (Nutrition) 
 
Planning, formulation, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of nutrition programmes e.g., Iron-folic acid supplementation/micronutrient supplementation in antenatal care, inpatient management of SAM) in compliance with national Strategy and Guidelines.
Ensure quality delivery of nutrition interventions across supported health facilities and strengthen referral system through capacity building and supervision.
Support and strengthening of the routine data collection, management and surveillance of nutrition situation to track programme performance, identify constraints/gaps and provide technical solutions to improve the programme implementation.
Develop response strategies and action plans based on the nutrition situation in the affected areas, in collaboration with partners.
Facilitate measures to improve identification of those in need of nutrition interventions and appropriate referrals such as integrate nutrition screening at all levels of the health system (community, PHC, tertiary) including mobile clinics/Mobile health and nutrition teams.

2017- 2020: UN Volunteer  Nutrition program officer

Provided technical support to monitor the implementation of specific activities related to nutrition to improve data collection and reporting.
Strengthened the coordination of the prevention and control of malnutrition, including enhanced support to government systems, and referral systems.
Ensured the nutrition programme pursues equitable access to emergency assistance particularly for affected and vulnerable populations, with a view to integrating gender equality and equity across all aspects of the incident nutrition programme, including supplementation and food fortification with essential micronutrients, IYCF, treatment cases of severe acute malnutrition, and other community nutrition programmes.
Facilitated data collection, conducted assessments (needs, risks, and security), and provided input for concept note/ proposal development for Nutrition related project in collaboration with the local community structures and community members
Supported communication activities with other partners, agencies, NGOs, and government institutions.
Built team capacity in Nutrition through effective guidance, coaching, training, and accountability.
Assisted in developing and expanding malnutrition prevention activities through promotion of IYCF and awareness rising in targeted areas.

Followed standard emergency preparedness practices to ensure CARE/WFP can quickly respond and deploy needed resources to affected areas at the onset of the crisis.
Participated in national level nutrition technical working group discussions as may be required by the Project/Sector Manager.

2012 - 2013: Group Leader and Section Supervisor, Field Work in Nutrition Advocacy, Ibadan.

Developed and conducted knowledge, attitudes and best practices survey of 2300 respondents to determine the nutritional status of under-five children sponsored by Human nutrition department, University of Ibadan as part of our field work.
Conducted and supervised all aspects of formative school health and activities related to program support (research, evaluation, and knowledge management activity) and the development of learning agendas.
Developed situational analysis from compiled data to determine the dietary pattern and nutritional status of children less than five years of age, adolescents and young adults (Anthropometric measurements, surveys, surveillance, screening and interventions) 24-hour dietary recall (24HR), dietary record (DR), dietary history and food frequency questionnaire (FFQ).
